Nikon Digicams

Just thought I'd chime in on the Macro camera debate.

Nikon has always delivered great Macro mode close up pics. The refined focus on most of the newer Nikon Cameras works very well.

If you can find still a Nikon 880, or 990, they were built to be quite versatile, at 3 megapixels, they offer better than the lense could deliver contrast wise anyways. More, and all you'll get is more blurry pixels, no matter the attention to focus. Also you could attatch a bellows (for around 100USD) which will help you gain better control of your macro shots.
