Blizzard's cinematics are usually pretty good, but they're never THAT good. I have yet to see a Blizzard cine that doesn't look overly cartoony and unrealistic.
Square's Final Fantasy stuff is just the best that there is out there. I mean hell, if they had done the facial expressions in the "Spirits Within" movie correctly, I think that everyone would be worshipping them.
Blizzard does cut scenes that contribute to the storyline, Square makes art. It's like Japanese Anime VS American Cartoons.
