Oz and Canada are alot alike.

Both have a massive inhospitable wilderness with a thin strip of truely habitable and populated land on the edge. Canada's is a frozen north, and Oz's is a desert interior.

In both, if you leave civilization and try to live outdoors, you are quite likely to die of exposure.

We both have strange shoe customs. Canadians take off their shoes indoors, while Auzzies shake theirs out & hang them on walls to avoid being killed by random venemous critters.

Canada has Roots clothing and the Beaver is our national animal, so Auzzies see us as all a bit naughty when visiting. Austrailia has beaches, so Canadians see all of your naughties when visiting.

Auzzies has the platapus. Canada has the moose. I mean, could it be any more clear?
