One of the world's greatest "pickup artists" has judged the line most likely to pick up women. And surprisingly, it's "I'm a big fan of Spongebob Squarepants."
"This line has so many things going for it, it's amazing," says Reggie Lothario, the pickup king. "Let's enumerate them."
* It shows you're offbeat, and willing to be original. Women like that. It shows confidence.
* It's a funny thing to say. Women love guys with a sense of humor.
* Saying "I'm a big fan" shows you're not afraid to convey enthusiasm, which women like.
* It shows you know what children watch, which is especially important to females who have or want kids.
* It contains the words "big" and "pants" which add up to a subliminal sexual message.
* It also contains "square" and "Bob" -- two words that evoke stability and steadiness.
* Women associate the word "sponge" with something warm and wet that they rub against their bodies.
* "Every syllable in this line works in at least two ways to seduce a female," Lothario says.
* Second place in "best pickup line" went to "You're blind? Really? I'm Donald Trump!"
