I've always thought a relationship was based on two people and what they want for each other.

Well said. I wouldn't want my wife to do it. I know that I couldn't tell her no, but I sure would tell her how I feel about it. She would be free to make her own choice, but I would hope that she would be willing to compromise and find another way to make some money.
