I think that Ricky had a huge impact on the Dolphins this year. He had the choice to play football or smoke, and he decided he'd rather smoke. Very immature and selfish decision on his part to retire. I wouldn't want him on my team
I think Wanstedt is a nice guy, but I don't think he is a coach. He's like Ron Zook, a players coach. One that all the players like, but don't respect. So, I think some of the blame has to rest on him and the rest of his staff.
I also think the hurricanes at the beginning of the season hurt the Dolphins from the start. I think there was a lot of uncertainty in the team schedule, and it may have gotten the team off on the wrong foot.
Sad to say, but I don't much light at the end of the tunnel, at least for the near future. Hopefully the Dolphins bring in a quality coach.
