It's true... your own urine is sterile to you (not to other people naturally), and it's somewhat acidic, which I assume is what makes it good for aiding in the healing of a genital piercing.
I've heard (though I'm not sure if it's true) that in survival situations where you have no medical supplies, you can use your own urine to clean wounds.
