This word is new to me as of a week ago, and I have only seen it at 'littlegreenfootballs.com'.
I of course, being a neocon, knew what it meant immediately. A moon bat would be a liberal who is just out there. It would be the kind who believes every conspiracy theory, no matter how badly debunked, just because it fit their world view.
