Yes, it is possible. My wife is a registered nurse. I asked her about the life span of sperm and she told me that it can live from 4-6 hours outside of the body and as long as 48 hours if kept properly heated (body temperature). It can be carried by other objects including kleenix and turkey basters (don't ask).
