		 From a sort of professional point of view (obstetrics is not my field): 
Sex is fine, just make sure she is comfortable - different positions etc 
but, if there is bleeding or a possibility that her membranes have ruptured, then no, not a good idea. 
Also, be careful of new partners etc because newly aquired infections can harm the foetus. 
 
40% have a decrease interest after birth,  
some have an increased interest and satisfaction, 
in UK, 90% return to having sex by 10 weeks post birth, 
2% haven't tried by 1 year!!
