That was Leon Lett in the Super Bowl (Cowboys vs. Bills), and that's not his most ridiculous play. The next year, the Cowboys were playing Miami on Thanksgiving Day, and it was snowing in Dallas. With about 15 seconds left in the game, Miami was down by 1 or 2 with a chance to kick a field goal to win the game. The kick was blocked, and it rolled to about the 5. Everyone on Dallas stopped and circled around it, waiting for the official to blow the play dead so that they would recover it...except for Leon Lett. He decided to go jump on the ball, and he slipped and kicked it. Miami wound up recovering, and their second field goal went in.
But the funniest play ever is Jose Canseco hitting a homer with his head. Even he couldn't stop laughing about it. Canseco was great, he didn't take himself as seriously as most athletes.
