It's not even a couple. She's a single woman who decided to do this. Personally, as someone who DID have her children later in life(although 20 years difference in age at birthing time), I think this is ridiculous. Women like her, Joan Lunden(who in her 50's, had twins through a surrogate and supposedly is or will do it again) want to make this statement that you're never too old to have it all, if you're willing to pay for it. BULL! There's a reason for menopause!!!! With all the older children in this country alone begging to be part of a family, i think this whole 'no age barrier' to pregnancy needs to be looked at a lot more by the medical and social services communities.
