While I think it is miraculous that modern science can allow for older couples to successfully conceive and give birth to children I think that this couple was way to old because they will most likely not be alive by the time their children finish high school.
What's the point of having kids that late if you're more likely than not to be too senile to enjoy seeing them growing up?
