Creative Inspire 4.1's have never done me any wrong, except for the rear left speaker flaking out on me for about a week, 6 months ago, totally inexplicably
They have great sound quality and a sweet volume control that mounts anywhere. I say give them a look, they must be dirt cheap by now too..
