as opposed to what conference? the SEC? where they have 2 good teams and are called "the best conference in football with the best defense" when in reality its two teams have the offensive power to do anything and the rest just blow...

seriously, the big ten doesn't have the speed to match some teams but how many other conferences put 6 teams in a bowl game every year?
