Sources of self-selection sampling error:
People who visit TFP.
People who visit Philosophy.
People who visited this thread.
People who took the quiz.
People who chose to post their results.
The last one is the kicker, though. The 2%ers are more likely to volunteer their "unique" results than the people who answer with the predicted responses. So, yeah, while I doubt there's any significant basis for the 98:2 claim... this thread wouldn't be significant evidence against it.
I'd already taken the quiz a while back, so I was trying to remember what the "common" answers were... so did I guess "red hammer" and "carrot" because that's what I was trying to remember? or am I a boring red hammer using carrot eater?
