Most of the replies here are just chest-pounding delusions:
"I'd run his ass over."
"I'll drop him with a well-placed head shot from my USP."
"I'll run him over, then get out and empty my Glock into the guy's ugly face."
With all due respect, and excepting those individuals here that actually dropped somebody with a head shot at a traffic light on the way to pick up their kids from school, chances are none of us will do anything. You'd be glad he didn't pick your car for his rampage. Besides, getting out, pulling out your gun from the glove compartment or wherever you keep it, acquiring a proper sight picture and shooting a lethal three round burst into the chest of a crazy, skinny black man rampaging around with a baseball bat: it's fiction. He'll be all over your ass before you can even realize you're shooting at an innocent passerby because this is not the safe, controlled environment of the shooting range with paper targets tacked to a wall 30 feet away and you're actually scared shitless.
Killing a man is harder than it looks on TV: once it's over, you can't change the channel.
