Of course this would be a fundamental difference between officer and enlisted training irateplatypus. See jumpinjesus's reply.
Groupthink does not only refer to, say, invading a country under
false pretenses. It is also a necessary component of "groupaction." You were being taught to direct groupaction not succumb to it.
