As much as Arafat was a terrorist, he still was regarded as a world leader and a man that brought the plight of the Palestinian's to the forefront of the world stage. This will be evident by the foreign dignitaries at his funeral Friday. Of course it will be interesting what the comments here will be regarding the dignitaries who are representing their countries in paying their respects. I'm sure in true form, myopia will rule the day. Kind of like the Israeli's who were dancing in the streets upon news of Arafats death. Reminicent of the Palestinian's that do the same when American's die. I knew those two peoples were close in proximity to each other but I never realized exactly how similar they are.
