I would certainly try it. My only concern would be my own cleanliness. I'd wanna take a shit for hours before trying this. I would feel awful if my s/o got an unpleasant surprise. I have used a finger on myself but I think it would be much better if I didn't have to do any of the work. Just relax and try to enjoy it. Alas, I also need to find someone who is willing to do it to me.
