Go to C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(random junk)\ and back up your bookmarks.html
After doing that, uninstall Firefox and delete the "Mozilla" directory in Application Data. Then, reinstall Firefox. Copy the backed up bookmarks.html into its original location. Chances are it will work again after that.
