Just a thought....
Is she prone to bruise easily? This could be a lack of potassium in the diet. Bananas are an excellent source although I can just hear the posts that are going to follow... heh

I appreciate the biting thing, too. But if she DOES bruise easily, this could be something she wants to look into anyway. That was where my mind went when I first read this and I didn't see anyone else make a reference to this, so...
