Nothing wrong with it at all.
Hubby's gonna kill me for this but... I've given him a manicure and a pedicure. He bites his nails and tears his toenails (gotten ingrown nails more than once cause of it) so he sometimes needs a little more care of them. I've buffed his fingernails till they looked almost polished.
I think a well groomed man just looks more attractive. Torn ratty nails or jagged edges aren't nice to feel when you touch either. It's about grooming. Now it you went to get pink nailpolish on your nails - EW!
