But "kama" and "karma" are two completely different concepts, but both coming from Hinduism makes it hard for Westerners to tell the difference. The word "karma" as most people know, is the concept of cause and effect. You do something, it comes back to you. "Kama" means the concept of sensory pleasure, which fits with what we know Kama Sutra to be, although the West doesn't use it for religious reasons, nor does Hinduism only use it for sex.

Oh, and if you search for "karma sutra" books at Amazon, you'll notice that all the results are "kama sutra" since people writing books are expected to spell correctly.
