I was sailing happily along with ver .09 or whatever it was. i saw that there was a new download. so i downloaded it. and proceeded to lose all my bookmarks. i probably had 200-300.

I posted in the mozillazine forums for help but talk about rude and unhelpful. No, i didnt make a backup of my bookmarks. didnt think about that. but i didnt expect to get clobbered by 1.0,

while over at the mozillazine forums, i read that a lot of people lost some or all of their bookmarks. Hopefully, those open source gurus can fix that problem.

so, all of you, BEFORE you upgrade, backup your bookmarks. you can find it if you do a search of your computer for bookmarks.html. i wish i knew this before i upgraded. Hindsight is 20/20.
