Just got back from it, and come out with nothing but praise. I wasn't a huge fan of Monsters, Inc or Finding Nemo, but this one put my faith back in Pixar. The characters are really fleshed out, and quite believable (given the circumstances). Since this is the first Pixar movie with the main characters being human, it's good to know they can write for more than talking animals.
You should also know that it's a bit more violent than their previous movies. Characters die left and right, but it's not dwelled on, and the action quickly moves on.
BTW, the visuals are A+. Those Pixar guys are at the top of their game.
