I have seen many liberals around here and in a number of reaction articles written by liberals that I have read that suggest the liberals need to "reach out" to social conservatives. Reach out doesn't necessarily equate to "become Republicans." I don't know what articles your referencing s I could be wrong in that assumption but I wouldn't worry to much about the Democrats straying too far to the right...they know that this election was far from the mandate that Dick cheney would like us to believe it was.
