Well, I don't have one running at the moment, but because it's a closed system (meaning you are not messing around with the settings all of the time) once it is setup, you really shouldn't have to touch it again, unless you have a hardware failure.
Another good thing is you can choose the size hard drive you want. Slap a 200GB drive in there and you can record 24 hours a day for a month (I might be exaggerating, I havn't really calculated it out)
