That skews the perspective horribly. You'd have to do a lot of research into both the countries, as well as the cities before making claims like that.

Calgary:
Population: ~950 000

Cleveland:

Those are just some basic differences that I looked up in a couple of minutes. I can assure you there are many many more. Not only out of interest of proper comparisons, I contested your post because Ohio voted Bush, and therefore I hate Ohio and all cities within it as a matter of principle.
