That skews the perspective horribly. You'd have to do a lot of research into both the countries, as well as the cities before making claims like that.
Calgary:
Population: ~950 000
Ethnic Makeup: 77% White, 18-20% visible minorities, 3-5% aboriginal
Pop. Density: 1252.3/kmē
Cleveland:
Population: ~500 000
Ethnic Makeup: 42% White, 51% black, 7% other visible minorities
Pop. Density: 2,380.9/kmē
Those are just some basic differences that I looked up in a couple of minutes. I can assure you there are many many more. Not only out of interest of proper comparisons, I contested your post because Ohio voted Bush, and therefore I hate Ohio and all cities within it as a matter of principle.
