The sad thing is how right they were.
With such a disgusting turnout for 18-29 year olds (did I read 17%?), the election was in their hands and they failed to rise to the occasion.
Quite sad.
Edited later - I stand corrected, and misunderstood earlier today. I have since discovered that the
actual turnout for 18-29 year olds was a very respectable 51% (the highest ever), and up to 64% in some of the swing states.
Good job, young'uns
And even later: I get so many conflicting reports on the youth vote, I don't know what to believe any more. It's water under the bridge, anyway. It's gonna be a long time till 2008.
