We have 3 cats. Two of them could care less about catnip, but the third one goes crazy over it. We once had a little plant in a 1x1x1 plastic pot. I set it down, went to the bathroom and when I came back the plant was out of the pot and my cat had made a huge mess of the living room (in the span of 1 minute). He also goes crazy over any toy with catnip in it.
