If a guy is nervous about having sex, he probably won't last as long. And the reason that so many guys are nervous about sex is because there's a lot of pressure to perform. I find that women often place unreal expectations on men to perform sexually. I laugh to myself women say things like "If a guy can't last for an hour, I don't want to bother with him" when guys last, on average, about 2-3 minutes.
