TFP Football Pool Week #9
Week number 9. (Number 9, Number 9, Number 9 - for all of you Beatles fans out there.) I’ve started to notice a trend in the picks each week. There is always one game where “everyone” picks wrong (usually involving Green Bay.) Why are we so dense. How can only two people pick the Giants last week and only five players pick Jacksonville in week 2. Are we just that inept. Am I just rattling on and no one is reading this. Well, at least we have had fifteen people who have stuck to their guns and picked the only remaining undefeated team each week, while seven of them should have known the Patriots streak was going to end. Only two gurus have picked all of the Eagles and Pats games correctly. No one has picked the Packers correctly practically the whole season. So, what does all this mean? Nothing. Now get to the picks and make sure you follow the correct format.
TFP Football Pool rules:
1. Pick one team from each game to win the game. If they win, you get one point. Ties count as a loss. The most points win. (Points spreads are not included, so therefore they do not matter. “Just win, Baby” - Al Davis)
2. After all games are picked, give a point total for the total points scored in the Monday night football game. This is used as a tie breaker. The closest, without going over will break the tie. If all tied go over, the closest wins.
3. Have your picks in before the first kickoff. The thread will be closed at some point after midnight EST the night before the first game. (Thank you Spectre.) Don't be late - PM's after the thread is closed will not count.
For convenience purposes please only list the winning team name. You should copy and delete from the schedule provided. PLEASE KEEP THE GAMES/TEAMS IN THE ORDER THEY ARE LISTED BELOW! Thank you, and good luck.
