Your running either 2000 or XP of Windows and the boot sector was not read correctly or has been corrupted.
NTLDR is the boot strap for these operating systems to load, in other words, this little file starts Windows at startup and without it, Windows cannot start.
Check your floppy and CD trays, both should be empty. Your computer may search for boot instructions from these drives and skip the boot sector of the harddisk if there is a disk in either drive. eject any disks and restart. Also check your bios to be sure that the hard drive is set as the booth device.
Assuming all removable drives are empty, insert your xp or 2000 disk (don't own the media, got it off Kazza? Sorry to hear that) and run setup. When prompted, choose the repair option and a new copy of NTLDR will be written to the drive booth sector of the boot disk.
Hmmm, follow Stiltzkin's link. It explains it flawlessly.
