I actually agree with you on that. On the other hand, that would be the very last thing on my list of qualifications for running the country. And, of course, the way I feel about his running of the country, I don't think he would find me a pleasant person to have a beer with. All politics aside, I suspect he was, in his time, a moderately amusing person to go drinking with.
And I should add that, were there anything that could make me think less of Dubya, this wouldn't be it. Heck, had he been elected by a comfortable majority and I saw this in the first 100 days of his administration, it might even make me dislike him a bit less. It's a damn shame that we'll never know. Honestly.
