The behind the scenes legalities of the show are interesting too.. Saw a story recently, where people are ending getting taxed out the wazooo because their homes value increases so much -- that causes the taxes to go up... Somehow I think (I can't find the link) they have worked around it.
And I also read, that a lot o what they do, isn't always fully functional when they give the owners the house - last season a really cool car wash shower was created -- the thing never worked...
But it's a neat feel good show - and some of the folks seem so deserving...
