Her complete lack of professionalism got me the most.
She showed her idiocy by jumping around like a fool.
She showed no respect to the band when she walked off. That was incredibley arrogent, and then to blame them!! The audacity of that bitch, stunned me. What incredible gall.
I blame the greater audiance though. We (whoever we are) are allowing frauds like her and her ilk to sell millions of records. The radio is overflowing with the same shit, and real musicians are harder and harder to find in the mix. The teenage girls, whoever, is buying this crap, is to blame.
If the audiance was failing to pay for this shit, by holding artists to higher standards, it would go away. Ashlee sold a shitload of albums to some group of "music appreciaters." Someone made money of her awful voice. I mean, god, to digress for a second...she sounds BAD. Really, really bad. Even on the radio, in overly massaged vocals it's clear she can not sing. But still she sells boatloads of CDs....
I think one facet of our RIAA friends current "disaster" is that the vast majority are NOT supporting fucktards like her, and that is accounting for a major loss in CD sales. I don't want her shit, and I'm not going to buy it. I don't know anyone in, or near, my age range (I'm 27) that would buy an Ashlee S album. Pop is narrowly focused on 14 year old girls. They can only buy so much.
I will buy Eminem's new album, coming out 11-16-04, that'll be the first album I've purchased in....um........ah......wait.......um......shit.....I know there was...wait, no.....but......no.....um........ahh........crud........ah.....um.......OH. no, shit...........um.....
I'm pretty sure it was Outkast's "Speakerboxx." Before that I honestly don't remember, but at some point I did buy Korn's "Take a look in the mirror." Maybe, I've bought 6 albums in the last 2 years. Maybe...
Either way,
Ahslee should be ashamed, but I don't think she'd understand why.
