I would say you are right to make opinions on Christianity based on it's followers, but I was suggesting that sometimes it seems that the true followers aren't represented. I would argue that there's a lot of Muslims who feel the same way right now.
There is a big big difference between someone who takes the name "christian" because it differentiates them from groups they don't belong to, like Jewish or Muslim, and those who actually adhere to the Biblical principles and actually live a "Christian life". I also argue that many of the people on here railing against Christian hypocrites (which they have every right to) have probably not had the opportunity to see or talk to a 'real, genuine God fearing Christian', to see what being a CHristian is really all about
