Never had boob job, but the sedation is a good choice - coming out of full anesthetic is horrid... follow their instructions on eating/drinking before the surgery to the letter.. .Seriously...
Congrationlations on your decision, You have my full support on this decision. If it makes you happy and makes you feel better about yourself, then you do what you gotta do - -just remember you are beautiful no matter what.
I wouldn't worry so much about your nipple rings - if you wanted to you could have them redone later - once you've healed...
