i would advocate a siberian husky or malamute--they are great--they are a pain---you should not confuse them with dogs, though--they are another thing altogether i have found. malamutes tend to be more chill, huskies a bit smarter....
but this is all simply a function of my affection for su tong the wonder husky, and an attempt to pass something this cool on to another across the medium of the message board.
