I think he's probably pretty accurate at describing how out of touch the entertainment industry is with what's really going on in the world.
Too often people seem to take on the ideas or opinions that other more prominent figures in the nation express.
My enjoyment at reading the article is, perhaps appropriately, at seeing a famous figure (one that I like to watch on TV, at that) express his views and speak of what's going on in the industry. The celebrity figures such as Alec Baldwin that say they will do one thing, or have a certain belief tend to not follow through with it. Baldwin, quite publicly against guns, made his millions by garnishing a number of weapons in several of the films he has worked on.
It seems that many of the people in the entertainment industry feel they must try and make world peace.
I guess I didn't speak much of Mr. Sajak's speech, but I never have been very good at expressing an opinion. I agree with what he said, all the way through. I'm glad to see that not all the prominent figures in the U.S. are "going with the flow."
