1) Talk to the service department - they owe you big time. They caused the damage, they need to fix it - to your satisfaction.
2) You can find fill-in sticks at most home repair stores (Home Depot, Builders Square, etc). But why should YOU go through the hassle? They fucked up - let them fix it.
