Well considering he started his career out 4, 8, 8, 4 in HR or there about shows that a single's hitter can become a homerun hitter with these juiced up balls.
Does he belong in the Hall of Fame. Maybe. He is not done with his career yet. I would say that he will get in but in another 10 years 500 HR's will not get you into the hall of fame automatically.
While Clemens is going for 300 I suspect that the number 250 will one day be the bench mark for getting into the Hall in about 10 to 20 years or even 275 because Maddux is the next closest with Glavine behind him but only Maddux has a legit shot also and I am doubting he will make it to that number either.
