Also just keep in mind that when you're getting yourself off you're not trying to please your partner, you're not maintaining a romantic mood, you're not shifting positions and trying new things. I'd say you're just going straight at it, as quickly as you can. That's why you last only a few minutes: becuase you're aiming for it.
Make sure your partner knows it's your first time (pretending it's not your first time is a huge mistake), she'll help you out, hopefully be very understanding if you come too quickly or not at all, and after a few rounds you'll learn how it all works. Like these guys, and the dozens of threads about this, just relax until the time comes.
