Just for the sake of character development, Petra doesn't drink, nor is she enraged by stupid boy things. She's not a nazi feminist. These types of things only amuse her.
Petra was struck in a curious way by the man they were now in the company of. He seemed so solid, so ready. She envied and admired him and his lovely mistress for their happiness and apparent stability, so far from her own world.
Remaining constantly aware of the scene unfolding about her, Petra followed the group into the cottage, where the delicious smells nearly knocked her off her feet. The beautiful woman turned from preparing the meal and smiled at Petra as if they two shared a secret unknown by the rest of the company. Petra looked away, detesting the delirious contentedness of this woman and her perfect little abode.
