It took me a couple months to get used to my contact lenses. I found that I would sometimes crack the rim when I removed them from my eyes they would bend in half and there would be a tiny rip. I learned to take them out more gently. You can also use rewetting drops about 30 seconds before you take them out - it softens them up a bit.
Also - have you tried using rewetting drops near the end of the day?
My contacts don't always last as long as they say - just the way it is.
You can put your contacts in cleaning solution for just a couple hours during the day if they are bothering you - give them a quick clean.
