I miss the snow we used to get in Winnipeg and Edmonton (hey, skier!). I remember one particular year in Winnipeg -- we got snowed in so badly, we had to force open the back door enough that my parents could push me out, all bundled up, so that I could trudge around the house and dig out the front door. Not the only time we were drifted-in, but definitely a memorable time. Also, I think the dog walked over the back fence that year and took a little doggie vacation -- the drifts were that high.
Now I'm in Halifax, and I'll be lucky to see my snowboard boots by January. *sigh*
(Of course, that excludes last March in Halifax when we got 90cm of snow in 48 hours and none of it melted. The city was snowed in for days. That was kinda fun.)
