I'm one of those who is turned off completely by any talk of pads, tampons, or period blood.
I know it makes no sense, and I know it is a natural process, yet I cannot help the way I feel. I also know a number of mates who feel the same.
Perhaps finding my mum's blood-soaked pad floating in the toilet when I was 9 has permanently scarred me?
