I do agree with denim -- the average woman does see a much more blood in her lifetime than the average man. Blood's never bothered me, but my dad passes out when he sees it. I gave myself an IV once, just for practice... stuck a 16g in my wrist and was about to hook up the tubing when I got completely transfixed on the blood. I had to let it flow for a few seconds... down my finger, into the grass, drip drip drip... I tried to write my name -- thank goodness it's only three letters long!
