Another reason to visit a car audio shop is to get a feel for the GUI's of the various models. Some of the units I have used are rediculously hard to navigate. Spend some time with each unit doing common things like switching sources, adjusting tone settings etc.. Theres nothing worse then having to read the manual everytime you need to make a change on the fly
